The Pick

Each week you pick one team you think will win. Submit it through the form — your name and your team, nothing else. One pick per week, every week, until you're out.

One Team, One Time

Once you've used a team, that team is burned for the rest of the season — win, lose, or tie. Thirty-two teams, eighteen weeks. Spend the good ones carefully.

The Deadline

Picks are due by noon Eastern on the day of that week's first game, or kickoff of that game, whichever comes first.

It's usually Thursday — but not always. Week 1 opens on a Wednesday. Check the countdown at the top of this page; it's the official clock.

Win, Lose, or Tie

Your team wins, you live to next week. Your team loses, you're out.

A tie survives — you advance, and the team is still burned.

Missed & Invalid Picks

Miss the deadline, or pick a team you've already used or that's on bye, and the commissioner's random draw assigns you a random eligible team.

That pick is final, and it burns the team. Set a reminder.

Buybacks

Knocked out? $10 buys you back in for the following week. No limit on how many times.

The last loss you can buy back from is Week 6, so the final possible re-entry is Week 7. Your used-team list carries over — a buyback doesn't wipe the slate.

Total Wipeout

If every remaining player loses in the same week, everybody survives to the next week. Those picks still burn, so nobody escapes clean.

Winning It All

Winner takes the whole pot. If only one player is left standing, the pool ends immediately and they're paid — no need to run out the calendar.

If more than one player survives all eighteen weeks, the survivors split the pot evenly.

The Commissioner

The commissioner is Alexander Podkul. He tracks picks, updates this board, runs the random draws, and rules on anything the rules don't cover. His call is final. Complain in the group chat like everyone else.
